paris fashion week c'est chic: pfw jewelry

everyone knows that french women are just inherently chic.  they don't even really try and wear basically the same outfit all week but somehow they do it better than the rest of us.  to me that's what paris fashion week feels like.  it's the same idea as its counterparts around the globe but somehow it feels just a little more exclusive and a little more glamorous.  this paris fashion week in particular had it all.  there was glamour (hello chanel), there was controversy (i'm looking at you saint laurent), there was kate moss (quelle surprise chez louis vuitton), and most importantly there was jewelry.  i think paris fashion week can be summed up in two words: understated and oversized.  the jewelry seemed to conform to this ideal as well both on and off the runway.  it seems like everyone wants a piece of that french mystique.  that certain je ne sais quoi you might even say.  and if jewelry like this is the way to get it then sign me up.
